This Stevens manufactured third variation hammer is for the Favorite single shot falling block rimfire rifle which has the 3rd variation mainspring. This hammer has a checkered spur and is in good condition exhibiting a grayish brown patina with light wear and possibly a few specks of rust. (file photo)
